Better positioned - Coffee competence strengthened. Sielaff goes its own way to become a considerable player in the coffee vending machine market with the help of a consulting business.
The stakes were high when Sielaff started a continuous improvement process together with b-k-p Consulting GmbH from Frankfurt and formulated the target to become a really interesting partner for catering, restaurants and hotels with improved cost structure, increased productivity and improved competitiveness.
Nonetheless the review by managing director Jürgen Utschig is positive after one year: "In maintaining a consistent productivity we could decrease costs by up to 15% in some areas", he explains.
But cost structure development is not the main focus for him. More importantly Sielaff now has the capability to make to competence, developed in recent years in the coffee market, work and show results.
